I have been lurking on this board for a LONG time now and I just finally bought a worthy boat. It needs a lot of work so I will be around! I have run a Sport Jet for a few years now and decided that it was a piece of junk so I steped up to a 454 Challenger. My first step is getting it water worthy (last couple times out I was towed in). I would just like to get it to the point where I can run it a whole day without having to pack it up. Anyway, I hope to meet everyone on the water this summer! SKM

congrats on the challenger. I have had two and they are nicely designed hulls. Any pics by chance? What year?

It's a 77.. As yu can see it needs a LOT of work. These pics are a few weeks old and I have done a lot of work since then too. I actually have matching plug wires now!

I can see you are well on your way...you have the cooler up front and center..Just remember to close it, since that keeps the beer cooler longer

Thanks for all the welcomes! I just got the trailer rewired so we can (legally) take it out tomorrow and see about getting more pictures up. Wish me luck!

Nope, That's the best name I could think of for the boat. It's some kind of monster, but I am not sure which kind yet.. Hopefully it will turn out to be the very fast kind :D
