What is the going rate for regular unleaded gas?
It got as high as 1.91/gallon here and seems to have started dropping slightly. Actually filled up for 1.77/gallon today. Anyone else seeing the prices going down?

We are paying $2.64 for regular and our pumps turn off at $50 too :(
Miller has to fill up his truck every other day (commute to work) and it takes well over $50 to fill up...which means at least two shots, with each fill up  ...it can become a major pain in the arse!
FYI ~ a few years ago, while touring northern England...I noticed their gas prices. 4 pounds per LITER...at that time it converted to roughly $12 per gallon  imgine that! When it comes to that, I bet we all trade in our SUV's for those tiny POS cars :D

Must be the poor planning group that spends their money there for $3 gas....I can never understand why I see the pumps running there either filling up the SUV's.....

That's all! You got off cheap;)
Paid 2.37 for 87 octane at ARCO in Encinitas today.....
Why can'tr they raise the limit from $50 to $100. Sounds easy to me? I don't get it. Two credit swipes to fill it up - takes time and costs $ especially if you use a debit card! STUPID!!!!!

You guys maybe interested to read about the magnatron motor .There was a short article in ***boat about it ca 20 yrs ago. A few years ago there was a big meeting held in Calgary alberta , by the oil producers from around the world .They had a conclusion about the oil reserves still 90 % left. The only problem is it's deeper and more expensive to drill/extract . Hooligan , canuck1 and jungleboy could chime in on this one. So the fact that we have so much oil means that ,the oil companies are not ready to give a chance for new found energy. .Our local tech company Ballard is dragging its ass for obvious reasons too ,ie; Shell bought stocks of this company;) :p . I think cheap gas is gonzo for sure. I'm ready for a big cruiser with convertible sails like the one John Adams' Trojan designed in the 80's
