I am running a 3300 Whipplecharged GenV BBC. It
presently has a Holley Black pump with an Aeromotive 13201 regulator. The pump has quit on me and I no longer am "comfortable" with it. Any
suggestions/opinions on the best way to go?
Thanks

Well you cannot run a mechanical or I would recommend the Clay Smith pump.
I have had pretty good luck with the Mallory 140.
Which ever one you end up with. Use a bypass regulator and it is not so hard on the pump. It may make those Holley pumps last longer if you do.

I don't know much about the pupms for carb motors.
I know that I would get the best one I could find, you blow stuff up when you go lean on a blower motor.
I have had good luck with the Essex and I hear good things about the new "marine" pump from aeromotive.
You should take some time and read up on the info that Essex and Aeromotive have on the web. they go into great detail about how to select a pump and the best methods of install.
Good Luck!
