For that kind of money and size you can get into a 25 foot Nordic Rage. Thats a pretty decent ride for the money I think. Dont buy a bayliner

I thought the Nordic was closer to 55k

I was thinking used and a few years old. You can get great deals on those things if you watch the trader.

For that kind of money and that length you are looking at used only.

If you look in the "Hot boat" section in the forum there is actually two really nice 24' open bow's for sale....one is a 24 Laveycraft and the other is a Howard (I think it's actually a 22' but is as big as a 24'). They are both within your price range.....

Thom-
Good luck in the search--
The Howard mentioned above is definately a great deal, and a boat that feels much much bigger than the 22 foot name.
If new- call John West at Ultra. Don't think there is a better way to go for that coin new- as RD said, around low 50's will get you out the door with a 2004. If you talk to John, tell him he were referred by people on the boards, it may help your price :D

I,ve owned 2 Ultras and both were great boats.Worth looking into, definately get alot of boat for your money with an Ultra. They may also have some slightly used ones that might fit your needs.
good luck in your search.

Damn fella's, how soon we forget Dana Performance Boats.
The 23' is an open bow design with ALL the bells and whistles sells for around 45k. HOT BOAT and Power Boat feel Dana is the "up and comer" in the Southern California marketplace. I have seen Tom produce boats for the last year (including ours) and I can tell you he builds a fine boat.
Make sure you test drive whatever boat you are looking to buy before cutting the check.

..you may want to consider this, if the owner is on the board chime in :D

If you cant raise the 6 to 7 grand to go up to the Ultra, Maybe you might wanna check out aftershock. Id still go with the Ultra. Most bang for your buck. You know your getting a good boat for a great price. I love my Ultra:D
