Well obviously I have lots of work ahead of me! But the ol baby blue came back pretty nice! Probably won't paint it till next season. I painted the pump white, rattle canned the trailer for now, and buffed the shit out it. I'll update some more pics as I gather parts and get an engine in there. Hopefully this thing drives good so I can consider putting some real time and money into it!

Personally, if the gel doesn't look any worse in person than it does in the pics, I'd say keep a good coat of wax on it (will help the shine more) and leave the gel alone. Nice classic old look to it.
If all the wood is good etc, it should make a nice project.
Keep us posted.

I was pretty sure it would buff out alright. My spectra is still in the sanding stage. :( Can't wait to get that done so I can put it back together. I have buying parts like a madman and I have almost got everything together.
See you at Tower Park.

Hey Kelly,
I know what you mean on the parts list! Man this chit gets expensive real quick! I found a running 460 this weekend for $600 bucks! 5k miles on a rebuild, has a Performer intake, Demon 750 or 850 carb, duraspark ignition, holley fuel pump, all AN fittings, complete even with an alternator! Only downfall is that the heads are the crappy D3VE's, but that can easily be changed later. Oh and if you know anyone that needs a C6 Transmission, this same guy has one for sale too, probably get it real cheap.
Can't wait to see your boat man, get some pics posted up of it's progress!!
