Starting to wonder if I'll ever get it wet. Got the floor done and the engine rails in. Engine should be ready one day this week. Hoping for 1st week of July.

Lookin good brother, all your hard work will pay off when the time is right. You can't rush a good thing. What kind of hull is it and how much power are you throwing at it????

Very nice!
I see that you have the rails installed like Rudy Ramos told me to do mine, upside down like that. He strongly feels that it lowers the CG (center of gravity) of the hull, resulting in better turning capability in race trim.
What? Me argue with greatness? Nope. I believe him.:)

Question, how would those rails make a difference in the center of gravity??, the motor is still in the same location when it's lined up regardless of what type of mounting system you have!.. :)

The motor will be two inches lower. Make sure the oil pan will fit.

If he's got a solid driveline it will be in the same place!..

I wasn't talking about the center of gravity. I was agreeing with GFR's post that if he has a solid 1 piece driveline, he won't be moving the motor anywhere because the angles have to be dead on.

Hopefully all the angles will line up right. I am just putting it back together the way it was before I took it apart. Took a whole bunch of pictures before I took it apart and am putting it back just like it was.
