Weekend Review at Cottonwood Cove

What an awesome time we had this weekend:D
Had the chance to get a few rooms at Cottonwood Cove's hotel. The place is great, everything right there.
The Luvnlife's and Jetdrivers familes are really fun to hang out with and enjoy the sights and good times.
We ran up to the dam yesterday, just a awesome boat ride, the weather was perfect.

I wanna try that place out. How is boat parking? How is the ramp for larger boats? How much were the rooms and how far in advance did you book?

That was an AWESOME weekend! We had a great time. Thank you so much Rich and Steph for including us! and thanks Cale and Jen for letting Brooke and I bum a ride yesterday on the way to the dam! I look forward to vactioning with all of you again soon. Such an awesome group of people! I'm sure Shawn will have some pics up soon enough :D :D

Parking is great, the ramp is big and easy to move around and launch. The hotel runs around $110 with some hidden charges once you get there, two year waiting list:mad:

The boat is running and it is now broke in, ready for the Posse Trips;)

Had a great time with the JetBoatRiches and the JetDrivers. Temps were awesome as were the accomadations. The boat is all cleaned up and ready for the next trip and so am I. Our pics will prob be up tomarrow. Thanks for a great time guys.:D

What a great weekend....one of the best yet...thanks to everyone who was there!! Weather couldn't have been better....love that AZ sun!!! I second Steph....thanks Rich for thinking of us, much appreciated, love it there. I could become a local there without a problem :D. BIG, FAT, HUGE thanks to Missy and Lil Rich for hangin with Kiara.....it takes a load offa me :D, and she has soooo much fun, I owe them!! ;)
Loved the 'all day' cocktail hour.....Steph par-took in all that fun and the other Steph :D :p ;), doin Vodka shots :eek:! Oh yea.....where we goin this weekend??? :D Okay, the pictures I can't post (the illegal ones) :D.....I'll PM those....the rest....I'll get to them, cuz I was on major camera duty as you all recall!!! Water temp was awesome......very refreshing, not cold at all except for up near the dam......and I mean DAMN :D it was cold water....leg cramping after 2-3 minutes in the water. :eek:

Thanks, I would say stronger. New heads, changed the CAM and freshened up the blower all combined for more power, really noticable on the low end. Up on plane real quick.:D :D :D Isabella here we come;)

Thanks......it's the Sony Cybershot T-1....their new, tiny little camera.....I've had it for about a month and so far I'm very impressed with the pictures it takes.
We had an awesome time....so I take it you're spoiled by Cottonwood Cove if you've been going there since you were 6 months old :D....it's very nice there, I'll go back in a heartbeat! :)

Enjoyed the pictures. Brought back childhood memories of the only time I made that same trip. It was 1966 with Mom and Dad in our Glaspar G-3. Being about 9 years old at the time it seemed like a really looooooooong trip and probably was.

Awesome pics. Those pics bring back lot's of good memories. Thanks for sharing them. I have not been to Cottonwood Cove in over ten years. I used to go all the time when I was a kid with family and friends. I think I'm gonna have to plan a trip out there in the near future. Do you really have to make reservations a year in advance to stay at the motel there even on the off weekends?

As we checked out I asked about rooms and they are booked through next summer completely. So now its 2 years in advance!
