Wanted to have my seats redone while I am doing some glass work on my boat. Wanted to get some input from boaters in the norcal area who have experience with the local talent. Want someone experienced with marine upholstery.

There is a shop in San Leandro that does good work. A few of us have gone there. Only neg thing I can say is he takes his time getting it done. Price is good tho

check this thread out
New Seats (http://p210.ezboard.com/fclassic***boatsfrm41.showMessage?topicID=288.topi c)
If the colors you pick are readily available, Charlie takes maybe 2 weeks. The seats pictured in that thread took about 3-1/2 weeks because the green was back ordered. He's in Santa Rosa.

Just looking at the pics of Katchenup's interior, I'd recommend Charlie. I had mine done a couple of seasons back and paid almost twice the price and it's not near as nice as his! I would've drove out to Santa Rosa for that deal!

Good Luck with the upholstery, Charlie will do you right! He did an awesome job matching the new seat cushions to the existing vinyl on my boat and he did an awesome job on 2 other LBBA member's boats last year.
11 miles from SR? whereabouts? I'm in Sonoma.

Livin in the big town of Windsor about 45 min from you. :) , were neighbors.
Thanks for the info, finally ready to get my interior done before I hit the water this year. Figured I would get it done while I glass the bilge area of my boat and try and put some paint down. With all this rain we are getting, I cant get anything done.

My brother lives in Windsor....a mile or so from Home Depot on the east side of 101. When you get the boat done, maybe we'll hook up for a day or 2 on the lake.
What boat do you have? pictures?
I looked around a bit for pictures of the other seats he did but couldn't find any decent ones. This is my step son's, kind of hard to see though

Right on Cas, sounds like your brother and I may live in the same neighborhood, might even know him.
I'm trying to put back together a '75 Nordic 19' bubbledeck jet that I bought as a basketcase. (didnt know it at the time) Have a crack coming off my intake and a small crack in the bilge area in the strake that I need to fix before I hit the water and to hopefully cover up that gawdawful pink some fool painted on there.
I would like to hook up with another ***boater from around here. We do Berryessa alot. None of my friends have my boat sickness. So we tend to solo alot.

good looking boat (except the color), I always liked to lines of the Nordic bubbledecks. If it's any consolation, this boat used to be a brighter pink than yours-

It came out real good for a paint job done in a portable garage sitting in a driveway.
We go to Berryessa a few times a year, mostly day trips but we do have a couple of outings with the group planned later in the year.
