i have a short block 454 40 over that has about 30 hours on it.2 bolt block,cast rods and crank,speed pro 10 to 1 moly coated skirt pistons,rotating assembly is balanced.Total seal gapless rings,clay smith cam,cloyes timing chain,mellings hv oil pump,ran perfect,need nothing.Never turned over 5200 rpm's,always used mobil 1 oil.$850.00 firm plus shipping.I have more than that in the block,pistons and rings.
I also have a 10 quart dooley oil pan but that will be extra.
You may want to find something local,if so i'll keep it for a spare.

I have a complete motor for sale. 454 stock bottom with a mild cam and flat tops,melling oil pump, clevite bearings, speed pro rings and TRW's. oval port heads Team G intake and a new 830 holley. It went 12.25 at 84 at firebird in flatbottom. Motor only has 10 passes on it. Would be a great lake motor. $3000 OBO. Just needs an oil pan.

My dad is selling a motor he just pulled out of his Spectra:
Mercruiser 420-horse 454, high-nickel 4-bolt block, forged crank, standard bore, rectangle port 990 heads, 2.19 & 1.88 stainless valves with hard seats, Mercruiser Edelbrock RPM intake, mercruiser HOT cam. Standard bore, very few hours, runs GREAT. He has a test cell and can send you a video of it running if you're interested. $2,100.
