That was a load of crap. We didn't bring lunch because we were going to grab a couple of burgers at Billy's. My whole crew was smashed by the time we got back because we didn't eat. Gave us an idea for next weekend. :D

He told me when I saw him Friday night there was a strong possibility of one or two who might put the kabosh on it for him but he said, I'm still heading up early and we'll see what happens. He was a good guy biz guy IMO by not actually revealing who the perp might be.....better that way.

I heard there was definately a complaint made to the authorities that led to Billy Burger being booted. Perhaps the person who did it (you know who you are), will man-up here and tell us.....but I doubt it! ;)

You can't run or advertise a commercial business in a "Wildlife Refuge". That's the same case they've been fighting with Girl's Gone Wild type businesses at the sand bar (also part of the refuge). Seems to me they've been unforcing it when people complain. But since the banners and bussiness are run from a mobile, floating venue, there may be a grey area. I know GGW (or one like them) was fighting it from that angle in court, because they fly their banner from a boat. I don't know how that case ended though, or if it has yet.

We rolled thru the channel and indulged on Billy Burgers afterwards! My first BB and it was fabulous!! We will definately be supporting Billy and family everytime we are in Havasu!

That idea was brought up....but I think I was one of the only ones sober enough to go....and my boat was kinda busy all day.....
