Scope Poker Run - August 27-29th Long Beach, CA.
I found this teaser video of the Poker Run on the Scope website. I cant wait, its going to be a good time, and best yet, it is out in our own play ground. Powerboat Mag rated this run as one of the top 10 poker runs in the country.

I stayed at that hotel about 6 months ago...nice place.you gotta get the rooms facing the water, then it's alot nicererer....that poker run looks way to dangerous, way to fast, that's crazy stuff only crazy people do.:D

Dont forget to throw in the extra props, those Hydromotives just cant seem to hold up to 800 HP. Most likely I only need one extra set of drives. So be a doll, and make room in that cabin!!!!!! If you dont get that hotel room, you might end up sleeping ontop of my drives, props, teflon paste, & pipe plugs.

We just reserved our room today. I talked to a Scope guy today and he said that most likely docks will only be available to sponsors. They will have water trucks for washdown and flushing and parking for the boats. Should be a good time.:cool:

3days , I just herd there are no docks available this year. So your either in your boat or its on your trailer. I guess Long Beach is rebuilding the docks Scope normally occupy's. That sucks

Docks are no problem, you can still talk to the harbor master at the Long Beach harbor, and get a space, or pull your boat out like everyone else and leave it in the parking lot. There will be security at the lot at the coast hotel, and the lot next door from what I have been told. There is also a spot at the coast hotel where alot of us could more then likely raft up while waiting for the run to start.

This will be a kickass event. It's true that the city of Long Beach is remodeling the marina so we are not able to get the docks that we normally use, but we are working to make everything go smooth for the run. We will have people to help launch and retrieve boats, plus we will be bringing in water trucks to use for washing and flushing your motors after the run. The Coast hotel is going to be sold out for the poker run and once you are there you don't need to leave all weekend.....
