We will be at Overton (oopps) Echo Bay camping and probably beaching at Hallett Beach :D

I'm doing mead for a week 4th of july and following week w/the houseboat thing. Come out and see us and thats even more weeks in a row. I'm starting to think I just need to move closer...

Draining!!! That is why it is never full unless we have a record amount of rain!!! Naci & SA were build for Agricultural purpoes, to keep the salt water out and enough water for the farmers/ranchers wells in the Salinas River Valley... It is drained every summer... Just a fact of life for us... It is a double edged sword for me, as my income and love is agriculture and but my other love is boating at Naci... :frown: :wink: :D

gary I'm not sure if I'm staying in vegas fathers day wkd or at echo w/lvhb guys. kinda depends on the evening plan of the group. there may still be some rooms available at echo though as I heard of some cancellations

sorry it's taken so long, but it was nice to meet you debbolas, scream and dicudmore over memorial weekend. i didn't get around to socializing as much as i would have liked but i'll try to make up for that over father's day weekend:D we launched out of echo for that weekend and the water level was fine. i launched out of callville several days later and the water level there was good also. as of today, i'm still not sure if we're camping that weekend or keeping our reservation at echo. my wife and mother in law went shopping and bought a TON of camping stuff:eek:

That was our last trip to Lake Mead, but I may have to plan more, I REALLY like that lake, it is so not crowded! (when I told the ranger chick at the entrance that, she almost fell down....guess she hasn't been to Havasu during Memorial Weekend):D
I must say, though, I prefer camping in our RV to staying in a hotel. The food is better!;)
