Im hearing that there is or will be a mandatory course to take for all boat and personal watercraft oners. Has anyone else heard about this?

Yeah, it's called "Common Sense 101". It's an entry level junior high class. :D

I've heard rumors of this for years, Cali was going to make it mandatory but they have yet to pull the trigger...

I had to get an "M" endorsement on my d.l. I wouldnt mind taking a test to be able to drive the boat. It might actually keep some of the idiots off the water.

I agree, they should make you take a test, just like a regular vehicle license. There are too many damn retards that drive boats! Folsom lake is flooded with them. I swear it's worse than women that drive minivans!!

its been the law here for the last 4 or 5 years in connecticut.
need it for a boat and seperate one for jetski. the mandatory course cost between 150--200 and you can't register shit without
your license

Makes sense to me, keep the dumbasses off the water until they learn the rules of the waterways.
