Geez this is annoying, Had them rebuilt over the winter and spring during all the changes and hoped they would not create this noise again but they do... How do I fix this....
Tired of sounding like a CHOO ChOO train.

Vacuum leak. Probable locations? Throttleshafts or one of the plugged vacuum sources is leaking.

Had this happen on one of my motor's. It sound's like the same thing .Are you running your P.C.V. vacuam lines wide open on the carb's? Try teeing the two carb's together and run a line down to your P.C.V. valve, the annoying sucking noise should be gone. Use a K&N breather in the other one to get clean flow.I hope it work's for you good luck.

Allready have the two carbs tied together and into one pcv valve... I have not had tme this week to check out the vacuum leak Ty described, but I did get a chaeter nitrous system in the mail today for a dual carb set up, now just need to get the balls to install it and run it...... Max speed so far is 80.2 without the bottle , hope it helps me get at least another 5 MPH out of it.

vacuum leak, also make sure the base gaskets have full contact, I had a carb spacer I tried once that didn't match up to the baseplate. Don't do the N2O until you find this leak or you'll be buying a new motor.
