1978 Sanger Hydro Video

This is a short clip of my dads hydro out on one of it's first runs. It has a mild 454, pump 91 octane, med lay-up, outboard steering, great boat. He was looking to get mid- 90's out of it. first time out radared at 107mph pleasant surprise. it is file 1221. i dont know how to link it to a post. try right click and save target as Dial up guys i wouldnt try unless you start it and then go to bed and watch it in the morning hope it works for ya

well "mild" is used pretty loosly. it is a pump gas motor about 10.5 to 1. put together real tight. he took a year to put it all together. cleanest install ive ever seen

Ric, the boat's owner, has built his share of BBCs over the years. He pretty much knows what works and what doesn't. I'm not sure on specifics, but I can tell you that the thing sounds pretty healthy, especially for a 10.5:1 motor.
If I'm remebering right, it's spinning in the 7800 rpm range(I'm don't remember what gear he's running). Isn't that about right Ry?
