just passed by the ramp on the way back from Laughlin on Monday and was wondering how the water has been in Pleasant? I haven't been to Pleasant in about four years, last time out was a bit rough on the 20' and under crowd.... still the same?
blew my fuel pump up at Laughlin/Havasu this past weekend, after we get a new one, been thinking about going to the Firiday Night Drags that often run by the 10 lane...
thx.sid

what's running at Saguaro?
are you talking low freeboard boats or big cruisers?
Saguaro is pretty short, more of a drag race venue than a long run.
what type of speeds are these rockets posting at Saguaro?
just curious. I run about 80mph, so I only race the slow boats...

I won't make it this weekend. I have a boating safety class on Saturday and Sunday I'm going to airport to pick up my mom.
Next weekend for sure.

32nd St. Paradise Valley Village. :D
Anything East of Cave Creek (or Central in some cases) counts as East Side, with you as the exception of course. :D :D :D

Hmmm, looks like Huffpower has everybody beat, that's pretty far east!
As for you Jordy, well you're about 20 STREETS more WEST than me!
Can I please be let back into the eastsider club now?

You can be let back in as soon as you take back the fire comment. :D
You might be 20 streets further east, but for every mile north of Bell and west of Scottsdale knocks ya back West 8 streets. Has to do with the curvature of the earth. At least that's what I heard. :D

Note to self, don't hire Jordy to work on navigation systems! :D
So how early does one have to arrive at Saguaro on a weekend to get a spot in the parking lot? I can remember summers past of showing up around 7:30-8ish and being too late.

It hasn't been bad this year. I've gotten on the lake at 9:30 on Sunday without waiting. Maybe it's the fuel prices.
Although I did just find out, and haven't tried it out yet, but if you flash a cripple parking pass at them you don't have to wait in the lot at all. :D

What sort of boats would one look for on Sat?
You rich east siders have so many different boats that it's hard to keep them all straight...

I'd probably be looking for a pair of Schiada River Cruisers up in the beach area for starters. I'm working on a posse. :D

I just don't go to Pleasant very often because there's no beach for the kids to get off the boat and play on.
Well, that and the fact that it's in the avenues... ;)

That and my season pass that works on all the East side lakes won't work at Pleasant. :(

Update, was out at Saguaro this afternoon/evening. Hundreds of dead fish floating upstream, stunk to high heaven. Will not be going back this weekend, wouldn't get in that water. May head to Havasu in the morning just for the helluvit...
ps: I did talk to a really cool guy with a Hallet Vector (I think), outdrive, cav plates, blown 540. Nice nice nice boat.

Sorry Cindy, won't be out this weekend, too much work going on. Big project in New Mexico, did get to visit home for the weekend though.
Sure glad all you eastsiders are staying away from Pleasant, makes it even more pleasant :p
Hope you see you "all" in the near future:)
