I posted this in HotSpots West also, but...
Hey folks, I need a dependable place to take my baby for it's first 20 hour service. Mercury that is. I live in Rancho Cucamonga and am willing to travel up to 5 miles J/K. I took my last boat to a manufacturer that a friend recommended and needless to say I wasn't pleased with the "service" or the results, and consequently didn't consider them while shopping for a new one.
Anyone with any experience they care to share would be appreciated.

Ardie LMAO That's too funny.
And might I say that you and Bre and all those chicks were absolutely beautiful last weekend and great to meet. Anyone with a bod like yours should be stuck up, but your not even close. I had too much fun.

I've used Future Marine in Upland for the last 15 years. See Gordon. They are on 9th St., between Campus and Grove.

C'mon now, the 909 is not such a bad place. At least where we live.
Towing/dropoff service, what a racket that would be, eh? :D

I wasn't bagging on living there.....
I've considered it too.
I was implying I didn't know any shops there.
Except shockwave

Quality Performance is the only person that I would let touch my Mercury motor in Corona. Rob Clark knows his stuff!

It's not a racket but more of a courtesy that we offer @ my shop. I have driven all the way to havasu to pick up and deliver a boat for a customer (for a fee of course)
As far as recomendations GS Marine is the only place other tan myself that touches my boat.

Whatever you do DONT go to M****rs Landing in Pomona. They are the worst. Crooks sold my buddy a "new" engine cover in his boat after an exhaust manifold cooked it. He later found out that they just re-covered the old one. Charged him $1,500. When he went back they told him to pound sand.
OL:(

Rob at Quality is probably the best in the 909. If you wouldn't mind a trip to Santa Ana, you can take it to Wilkes Marine. He does awesome work. He is also one of the writers and test drivers for Hot Boat. Either way, take some vaseline with you.

I disagree. Took my boat to him 5 times to find a oil leak, he never found it. I took it to Temecula Marine center (Mike) and open hatch stuck finger in and pulled it out with oil on it and said it's a rear main seal leak. So Quality is anything but.......
Mike at Temecula Marine center is a Certified Mercury Master Tech.

Thanks for the input everyone, I really appreciate it. Word of mouth is the only way I'd find a reputable service place, IMO

I'll put in a good word for Prime Marine. I have a pretty big project over there and Mike keeps me up to date with progress reports and how far over budget I'm getting. lol Hey Mike, last night I was thinkin and well, now I need..... haha
They can tackle pretty much anything. If you want to see some nice work stop by their shop and take a look at v drive row over there.
They do outdrive work from mild to wild also.
