Been listening to both albums. Both have a few tracks that blew my mind right off the bat. Was hoping for a little more '80s sound out of Brides but its still good. The roots are there. I was really hoping for Slash to be doing his thing with Velvet. He comes through in a few spots but I need more. The best albums I have bought in years however.
I just keep hoping for more Appetite for Destruction and the Cult's Sonic Temple. Favorite albums of all. I think that stuff is gonna creep back in. Don't know about you, but I am ready to hear someone actually play a guitar again.

Something I just noticed. I loaded the Brides disk into my computer AND THE FRIKIN NAME COMES UP IN ALL CAPS. None of the other hundred some albums do that. AT LEAST THERE IS CONSISTENCY.

Have to pick both of those releases up :) I picked up three other great albums lately. Monster Magnets "Monolithic Baby", Black Label Society's "Hangover Music Vol.4" and the latest offering from UFO, "You Are Here". Anyone heard any of these?
