As many Americans, I really wanted to visit the Reagan Library ths week to pay my respects. Well as we all witnessed, the wait was from 8 to 10 hours. Needless to say, I don't have this much free time on my hands. So i was unable to visit Mr. Reagan like the other 106,000 Red Blooded Americans.:eek: So I resorted to Plan B. Visit the Reagan Library in a month after the burial.
I work in Moorpark which is about 5 miles from the Reagan Library and had to travel to Thousand Oaks this morning to pick-up some Air-Conditioning Parts. I made good time, and on my way back to Moorpark on the 23 freeway I was able to catch the procession from the Library to Point Mugu. I pulled-over into the dirt "infield" between the northbound and southbound lanes, broke-out the new camera and captured a little bit of history this morning at about 8:45am.:cool:
It was very overwhelming as I found myself just a few feet away from what seems like the center of the universe.
