That's my dog...

The wife just got back from Havasu for a few days and brought our Lab with her. Since they have been back, my dog is moping and won't have anything to do with either of us. I ask the dog if she want's to go back to the water and she flips out! I think it's funny. Of course I have to have a dog that gets just as depressed as me about leaving the lake. She is still moping today.

get heror him a little pool .. it may satisfy her until you go back.. :( :D

We got our lab one at Toys R Us $20. Great investment for the 1 day we had it before he chewed it up :rolleyes:

I was going to try the Big Lots too. She will be overjoyed with a pool of water. She often tries to swim in her water bowl.

Our Lab will not stay out of our pond, my wife will be going to k-mart or Target to get one.

I have a golden and he would not stay out of his pool. He just loved it. Got ours a toys r but big lots.. walmart.,.. target , you can find them anywhere really

I'm jealous that you guys have dogs that like water, my dalmation doesnt like it or the sun ( she burns) or the noise from the boat..... and I even painted the boat for her like her!

If our little doggie hears you say boat, river or lake, she goes nuts. Funny thing is she doesn't like the water. Maybe she just thinks the boat is fun!!

We got her a pool from Big Lots. When we filled it up with water she just looked at us like "That aint no lake! What, you expect me to swim in a puddle?".
She jumped in it though after I threw her ball in it. We taker her to the doggie beach every now and then.

Our Chocolate lab also uses his kiddie pool as a water bowl after playing fetch for 20+ minutes but he has to lay down in it as he drinks:)
