Every time I try to open a link someone has posted, my computer locks up. I can go through the threads no problem, I just can't open any links. This just started today, and I haven't changed any settings on my computer or downloaded anything new. What up?

alot of the links posted recently have been video files . if youre on dialup it will take forever and a day to open. try rightclicking on the link and save it to a file . or right click and open it in a new window .

If you have a popup blocker that may be the issue.
Hold down the "ctrl" key when you click on the link. That works for me.

Try this:
Go into Find.
Then: Files or Folders
Type: msconfig
Click-on : msconfig
click the start-up tab
un-check whatever you don't want at start-up.
This will free a shitload of memory and your 'puter will run alot better.
