Classic Boat Beach Bash August 14th-16th.

I just mad my reservations and registered, it seems there are VERY few rooms left, maybe ONE. It is going to be a blast, I cant wait and I get to drink since I wont have to drive home at night. God bless the Avi Hotel and Casino :)

Is it too soon to put the battery charger on the boat for August? And just in case I have a 2nd boat in storage in fort mohave, probably needs a jump and some fuel and its good to go.

Elsinore was sweet, I am still drooling over Repo Mans boat 100+mph in a heartbeat, those Schiadas also cut that chop no problem There are tons of pics and vids from today floating around, we missed you out there.

as of right now the evnet is very big we have over 80 rooms booked and that is how many we set aside( iam going to bump that up a bit to make some more room) i would still say that you should call and get your reservations asap they will take away the rooms set aside very quickly as the event gets closer they have other guests too):D we cant wait to see all the new faces and the old ones too. remember this is a family event ( untill the night then the bar tells us what to do:p ) see you all there;)

I made reservations last night and had no problem, but I don't know if I'm in the block of rooms or not. I did get the rate though. As long as I'm on a different floor than Beautifull Noise, everything will be good. :D

i would say that a 30 footer is a bit big to launch at the avi. i personaly have never seen one that big up that far most of them dont run to far above park moabi. the water is very low in the morings and starts coming up around 12-1pm . we are not against big boat we just dont want to see any ones boat get hurt ( iam betting that 30 will be trouble);) i would say you can take a 25 up that far if you know that part of the river well.:)

WITH A NEW MOTOR AND PUMP IN THE BOAT THIS YEAR AND MY QUEST FOR 80 ALMOST SUCCESSFUL-I HIT 78 ON GPS- I AM EXTRA EXCITED THIS YEAR. i would not suggest that any one leaves there boat in over night the water drops a bit and you mihgt find it on sand in the morning. also the avi has great security and they are always driving around the parking lot in there golf carts making sure every thing is on the up and up;) you might how ever find some cbbber in your boat taking compromiseing pictures lol:D

forgot about that (everytime we pull ours out at night) and you are correct, it does drop at night. our friend left his in and in the morning it was beached....

When we stay at Park Moabi we anchor in the water and put a slide anchor on the beach. We know about the water level down there, and have seen many interesting things float by....;)

We are bringing our 19" Daytona.....hubby won't bring the prop boat there, he's a little too paranoid.....people do it though, I know it gets WAYYYY low in the early AM, not sure about a 30'er though.....just check it out with others. It's sad how low the water levels are anymore!! :( That's why I'm trying to take advantage of all the water fun I can while it's still accessible!!

1. full size mirror
2. a long dsl connection so she can chat with her boyfriend

of course, make her ruff it out in the outdoors. There is nothing greater than camping. Drinking until you get tired then turn around and get in your tent, caveman style.
