This might not be the correct forum to post this but I need help, and I know one of you guys can give me the answer. :D.
I purchased a Mirage 25p with a solid hub. I did not know I was purchasing a solid hub as I have never seen one before. I assume this takes a special thrust bearing and aft washer to hold the prop nut in place. I went to my dealer in town and they could not find the part number.

Its on a Bravo. I will post pics tonight. I measured the Mirage before I left. The part of the hub the thrust bearing goes into measures about 1 5/8. The standard trrust bearning looks to be around 2 1/2 inches(just guessing did not meaure it)

Is this a older Mirage solid hub 25? Like from the early 90's? If so, it probably has a part # on the prop like 48-13248A50 25P
If that is the case the thrust hub you are looking for is a Mercury part # 14359
If you can't find one locally I have a couple of them on the shelve. Let me know and I can send you one.

Wow, sorry that was such a headache 1bigjim! The solid hub is much better if you're going to be putting some power to it! Will have to keep this thread/part numbers handy for 5th Horseman as he bought the solid hub 26 Bravo 1. :)

That would be a different one for the 4 blade 26. I'll look tomorrow and see just what it takes.

Hey HP350SC if your buddys prop is a true solid hub Bravo 1 , the prop is probably part # 48-831914A55 Verify that on the side of the prop. If it is the thrust hub for the solid hub is 8354675

Ok I wanted to post my first Image:D
This is the new solid hub prop. As you can see there is not much of a diameter for the thrust washer to sit down inside the hub. This image shows the thrust washer for my other prop. I am hoping this new spacer will lower the prop far enough that I can get the aft assembly on it:)

The 14359 thrust hub fits right into the back of that prop. It will go right on.

if I have a 25 pitch mirage plus "A45" can i use the solid hud design flo-torq hub 835258A1 kit to switch out the regular one?
Also, i have noticed recently, that im getting ALOT of blow out on starts or while planing to where i have to back off the throttle until the prop grabs. could it be the hub slipping. it just started doing it recently... 22 scarab with 7.4 bravo 1 running 79.8mph on the 25 mirage... need help on the blow out guys.
