Well, the motor is coming out next week for another rebuild. I am going to have some downtime while it is out so I am going to paint up the trailer, and motor. What do I need to know to do this? I am hoping that there is a spray paint that is good enough for these jobs? If not, what do I need? I have access to a spray gun, I just would rather take the easier/cheaper route. Thanks for any tips!

You can go to your local automotive paint supplier and have them put your choice of paint in a spray can.

I used PPG on my boat, but when it came to the trailer, I used omni paint. I made sure to get a little extra and painted the block to macth. Used Base coat and clear coat system. Easy to spray !! Good Luck.

I don't mean to change the subject. does the puck tank work when it is higher then the valve covers.

I used a DuPont Imron on my trailer. Has held up extremely well!

All the ones that I've seen have been above the valve covers?

I decided to hit it with a cheapo paint until winter when I have more time. It's not looking too good, but still better than it was!
