Oh Shit. Sorry. You said "A CRANK" not crank. I had one about two weeks ago from an early 1969 thinking it was a 429. After I got it the block and heads were cracked like glass. Full of water so I junked it all. I'll check to see if they still have the crank and if it's allright or not.

Tisfortexas,
Thanks but I have a 429 crank all ready to go but, good fordged pistons cost an arm and a leg and first born and...... Well you get the picture right. Fordged pistons for a 460 are the same price as cast for a 429. Thats why I need a 460 crank.
Thanks
Jim

I have a few goodies hid around for later. Turns out thst 429 crank is an early Lincoln 460. Still tracking it,hope it didn't go to the salveage yard allready. I have a set of 410 pistons and rods to use in a 390 block with a 428 crank. The crank is still in an engine shop till I find out what balancer/?/sleeve-pulley to use. P.I. heads,Tunnel ram-single top;I need a duel top but don't know who has them or who made it.
