I thought it was pretty good. One of the HB members had seen JJ and KR in the Pheonix area around the Super Bowl timeframe. I wonder if those were the bikes they were riding?

Yeah it was on at 6 and at 9. 2 hour special. Pretty good.

How crazy was it when the Federalies (sp) were letting them shoot their guns??? I thought the show kicked ass. Alot of people talk shit about Jesse and what not but you gotta admit he is one bad ass dude with a lot of talent!!!

Think it was AZKC who saw them around that time. Watched most of show but tired towards the last half, busy weekend at the lake, you know :D

I was thinking the same thing. They want to go to Mexico to get away for a bit and they have this crew with them. It still looked like good times. I am sure it was nice to get to a place where you can have a taco in a restraunt and not get mugged for an autograph. It was a good show. It kind of portrayed Jesse as a difficult man to be married to. Either that he married a psycho nutcase.

The show was great. About Janine, she made JJ out to be this monster, but he wasnt the one throwing keys at her face or hitting her with a vase or even pulling a knife on her !! She is a looney toon !! Hot, but looney. He is dating sandra bullock now, hopefully it works out for him. But you can tell he is very over everything he has done and accomplished. When he got into this, he is probably one of the very few that got into this not for the money or the fame, but just to do something he likes and now he has to deal with everything. But it is his decision to do all these commercials and events and putting himself more in the public eye, he could just sit in his shop and work and tell everyone to buzz off but being on the verge of selling out, I think he is doing it soley for the money at this point. He seems to like how things are going with his kids which is important and that special gave a little more of an insight as to how he is, a cool guy with a unique prospective on life who enjoys doing normal guy things, guns, riding bikes, screwing around, boating, etc. He doesnt think he is better than anyone which I think is very important. I liked what he said "everyone deserves equal treatment, not special treatment"

I was tired after washing the boat and driving home from from Havasu but stayed awake until 11 watching it. The copper bike was awsome.

Yes he did, and he bought that special rivet machine that didn't pierce the tank so it would hold fuel. I wasn't sure though, if fuel would react with copper, but they never mentioned anything about using an inner tank liner.

My honest opinion of JJ and KR, and the show. I turned the show off about 1/2 way when they were shootin w/ the federalies. Whatever that was about, who knows. I got burned out a long time ago on "monster garage" cause it's got more drama than this board does, every stinkin time, just like American Hot Rod and American Chopper...too much whine with whatever they're serving up...
The bikes Jessie builds are definately to notch, but the white trash/ kiss my ass attitude of daily life and surrounding yourself with utter lowlifes is I can't stand watching. In my opinion if he stuck to selling his wares, his bikes, he'd be money and privacy ahead, as it is now, he's not a likeable person, on or off camera...

I think that Jesse had to put a lining in tank that he built. I know that copper eats the crap out of coolant for my cnc machines and it will eat almost anything that it comes in contact with. I know copper will turn your skin green. But how gasoline and copper react with each other I don't know. My prediction is that since gasoline is a pertrolium product it will keep the copper oily and shiny. But other chemicals in gasoline might have a reaction with the copper. So I am personally going to test this out in my shop. Right now. I will leave a piece of copper in a can of gas for a week or two. Then I will post results. ---Now anyone that has dealt with copper knows that oil stains it. So yes the out side of the tank was copper coated- just like when you chrome something. Then it was probably clear coated.

I thought the show was pretty killer. From the photos they showed of Jesse when he was a kid, it looks like he grew up boating. I wish they would've stuck more to the bike stuff and not so much on Janine.

Not to split hairs, but it's 21.95 for Discovery channel programs on DVD.
