What do you want hardened seats for? I can't believe they're necessary for the iron heads.
The E6TE head has installed seats...

I've got a set of D3VE A2A's too. They came off my motor two seasons ago and were only removed to upgrade to aluminum heads (nothing wrong with em). They had a valve job done to em and only ran one season. You could probably get away with just bolting em on. I checked compression prior to pulling my motor apart and they were still in good shape. Complete with valves, springs, keepers etc. already installed on em.
Here are the compression numbers
127
122
125
130
130
136
119
127
$150 if you pick em up. It'll save ya some shipping money since I'm right here in Glendale Arizona.

squirtchas sounds like the best deal. Since you are both in AZ. I was just thinking that it would probably cost shitload to have them shipped.

I think Hacker has a nice set of D0VE or D1VE heads for sale. They were ported at Clay Smith, Manley valves, hardened good springs etc. PM him and see whats up.

Hack, You got D3's w/o air injection holes? That's cool. :p
I've only seen two other pair of those, and based on what history I could gather from each set I saw, it seems that they are heads that Ford provided for marine 460's...a few were initially shipped without Thermactor holes drilled...due to the application.
Are those heads ported to a Felpro 1231 gasket? (SCJ port size.)

yes they have been ported out that far. i ran them but the flow #'s sucked and the cc size was 97 and i needed more compression with out changeing my pistons so i went with the blue thunder 75 ccc then had them cut down to 72 cc got my compression way up. and plus i had those worked and the flow damn well. here are some pics of the heads when i had them done
