Yes, welcome aboard always good to have boat companies join the boards, I think it is great for customer/business relations.

We've got a custom boat company in Northern CA? Where?
Have they got a web page? I couldn't find them.

John MIller is already on here. His screen name is John Miller.
I'm thinkin this is Jim Miller or his wife. If so I'm glad they signed up and hope to see them get involved.

Hey Dave I had spoke to Jim on the phone about a week or two ago about the woody! I told them to check it here at the v-drive section. He said he never been here but wanted to see some pics. He sounded very interested in the boat! Very nice gentleman by the way...:) Probably realized all the fun he was missing out on!   :D

I donno about that Maxi.
Back when I was the moderator I talked to him on the phone and he wanted that thread deleted. I explained to him it was just a guy and his kids re-storing a boat and it had every right to be here just like everyone elses projects.
They also wanted some stuff that MillerKiller wrote deleted that was in that same thread. Well, I didn't delete anything (it was with in the guidelines I was given, no porn or personal threats, ect.) but someone else (hot boat) did after a call was made to the ad. dept.
That is the #1 reason why I asked to be replaced as moderator.
The very last thing I did as a mod was break up that thread to seperate the re-store from the other crap. If you read the first post in that thread you can tell were I was comming from.
But that's all water under the bridge and I hope they do get involved.

He seemed like this hot boat forum thing was foriegn? As for the political part you were talking of I don't know anything about it. I am not fond of politics anyway...:)

If it's the same Miller Custom Boats(Jim Miller, proprieter) I visited 2 years ago, it's in Santa Maria, on the central coast. He had that Sanger flattie from Florida that was in HB mag a few months ago in his shop then.

Ah, ok that makes better sense.
I'm with you on the politics. When the first hint of politics started is when I got out.

I am confused? Jim Miller already had a user name as “Boatbuilder” (or something like that). At least boatbuilder’s profile said Jim Miller, Miller Custom boats, Santa Maria, Ca.
John Miller is already on here as John Miller
So who is Miller Custom Boats? Jim’s son Justin maybe?

Jim Jim,
Glad to see you on here, welcome to the board! You redid my stripes below the rub rail about two years ago. Just wanted to let you know they look as good as they did the day I left your shop.
I may get a hold of you for some fiberglass repair this winter.

summerlove, yes, that is the Kandy Kid II. It was pulled out of a field of weeds. A fiberglass shell with ribs. I got it about 10 years ago. The 24 foot Campbell is owned by the same gentleman. Go back to my website, the yellow bottom half hanging from my buddies tow truck is this boat after I cut the glass deck off. I built this deck, so I did not really cut the deck out. This is going to have twin engines with counter rotating props. It is going to be a very technically interesting boat, I think you will like it.
I went for a ride in KKII shortly after it was completed. I thought it looked familar. Isn't his name Jim Josephson, or something like that? We met at a campbell regatta and his boat was such a rough ride his wife went with us in our larger one. She really wanted a more "comfy" ride and thus the 24' makes sense. Tell him the guy with the campbell named Summer Love says Hi next time you see or speak with him. Thanks, Rick
