The Jetboats are coming to the Mississippi

There is a jet boat get together in McGregor Iowa on the Mississippi River July 9th, 10th and the 11th.

There is going to be a Jetboat meet on the Mississippi near Prarieduchein, WI. Mcgreggor/Marquette IA.
There is always a good turnout, and a very good time, plenty of water, sandy beaches. The date for this event is July 9,10,11th, reservations can be made at the Frontier motel in Marquette 563-873-3497 other hotels are in Praire and Mcgreggor, Camping is also near by. Post any questions, we are inside of the two week period. All types of Jetboats attend, ranging from cruisers, family style, freeboard challenged, and the Blown monster motor boats from central Iowa. Hotels on the water are nearly full-up, camping is available on the Iowa side or the Wisconsin side, or you can camp on any one of a hundred of sandbars. Fuel is available on the water, and is near each of the public launch ramps.
This all takes place south of Lacrosse WI. and North of Debuque AI. 3.75 hrs from Chicago, 3hrs from
Minniapolis, 3.5 ish hours from Des moines IA. It's really a good central location for all, in the upper midwest area.

Just an update, river levels are only 7,8 over normal down from 13 ft earlier this month. We 've got boats coming from 1 Milwalkee, 2-3Desmoines, 1 Rhochester, 1 Minniapolis, ( 1 Clearlake? Ceasar) 1-2 Cedarfalls, 1 Vinton, 1 Lacross, 1Rockford, 1 Chicago. See you there:D
