This is just a guess, but the Biesemeyer circle race jet boats had two different bottoms. One was a conventional semi v, and the other was a gull wing bottom. I would bet that it is a jet boat.

The guy says its a v drive. He made it sound like almost a runner with a flat bottom style plate.
