I just put a set of twisties on my boat.
This is the first time I've ever had headers. What all should I do to make sure they don't rust? Also, I put a banderlog valve on it. Anything I should do to maintain it?
Thanks in advance!
Mike

Harley Makes Some Nice Chrome Polish That Doesn't Have Any Type Of "grit" To It,so Its Non Abrasive.it Keeps The Rust Off And Keeps Em Shiny! You Might Want To Put A Little Screen Filter Or Something In Frt. Of The Banderlog To Keep It Clean Internally.thats All I Got.

Not sure about the Banderlog deal. The Bassett site has some tips on maintaining headers. Mine are old & kinda rusty between the tubes, but they all get that way eventually. I did start spraying WD40 in the collecters, down the tubes. (Got that off the website) Just try & keep 'em clean & a coat of good polish on them I would imagine....

Be sure to wipe the preserve oils off the headers before startup! Sleek
