Has anyone else here checked out cabo wabo in tahoe???
went there this weekend..food was good (cilantro rice is nice)
got wifey a margie while we were waiting to be seated ....almost gave her a bitter beer face ...the thing was a little tart...( the drink, not the little hottie who served it up:D ) a little more cabo and little less mix would've been nice ...a $8.00 floater made the drink...drinkable. for $15.00 it should've been:frown:
the wierd thing was the concert video monitors showing sammy in concert. they didn't match what was playing on the sound system ....kinda like watching a japanese horror flick...

I was told that the main reason ford was so well known for standing behind their product was in case it needed pushing :D I know ford offers the same thing, but GM sells an extended warranty that covers up to 100,000 miles. Once the regular warranty expires then GMPP (General Motors Protection Plan) takes over. It is similar to regular warranty, but if a large or unusual repair is called in for authorization (say like one of our bullet proof trannies :pigfly: fails) then they send out an inspector to verify. I like the idea of looking at broken cars over breaking my back on them.
Hijack over, back to dreaming.
I wanna be a boat wiper for the flying vees

I'd like to own a Hooter's restaurant but I'm thinkin I'd just be in trouble with the wife all the time if I owned one of those. I wouldn't mind being a Nascar driver or work on one of the teams but they have to work almost every weekend during the summer. So, I wouldn't have much time to go to the river and that would suck.

I'm not the avid book worm I used to be. I've become a bit of an author snob too ... I mainly stick to just my favorite ones. Occasionally I'll read a title by another author outside my usuals on a strong recommend from someone who knows what I like.
I mostly read fiction online too. The best part of reading online is that I'm not stuck holding a book or as I call them dust collecting space hoggers. I'm not one to read and re-read a book. I read it once I'm usually done with it (there have been exceptions). Books can accumulate ... it's not desirable for me. :) I will remember the author names you mentioned if I do happen to go looking to read some new stuff. Thanks Debbolas. :)

Not books online exactly more like short stories or continuing stories split up into installments of varying lengths. There's all kinds online. I bet you'd love the Lord of The Rings fan fictions. ;) Fan fictions are stories that fans create - they use their own original storylines but use their favorite characters from tv/books/movies/video games. If you do a search I bet you'd find lots of stuff to read that would interest you. :)

For some reason it just energizes me. The more the crowd is in to what I am saying the more my enthusiasm goes up!
