sandbar on the 4th

Has anybody heard if the sandbar at lake havasu is going to be open for the 4th of july?They usually close it down.

Count on it being closed down for the 4th weekend. That's the norm and wouldn't expect any thing different.

Well, not being one to populate the lake and river on long weekends, my experience from the past was to hang out in the channel, cruise up north to the dam, stopping along the way in the coves on both sides of the lake, and really never finding anywhere to hang all day long.
I'm coming back just before the big weekend, so I'm gonna be in my pool...LOL

channel,steamboat,copper canyon, up river to park moabi. The mini sandbar usually happens on the big weekends now. It is located up river as you leave the lake on the california side, you'll see all the boats. It was jumping for memorial day.:cool:
