What are the odds that you would see a Bayliner towing in a 32' Sunsation? Well I saw it today at Castaic and just felt like sharing a laugh.

My son towed me back to the Nautical Ramp in my 30 foot Elminator with my Sea Doo... that'd have made a funny picture...

I made a quick run to Copper Canyon on our last morning there, got out about half way between Nautical and Copper Canyon and cough, wheeze and kaput...
Your point is well taken though... there are plenty of people at Havazoo that seem to run out of lake before gas...:(

Mine had twin 502s and a notoriously unreliable gas guage... It wasn't the first time I'd run it out of fuel.

Big motor times two make for one thirsty lady.

yeah, very thirsty. And the gas guage would hang up sometimes at about 1/8 th of a tank. Thought I had enough for one more short run.... WRONG!

If I had choice, I would rather come in on rope due to no gas verses blowing something up;)

Definitely true, or even worse... running out of lake first...
