Broke a motor mount last Memorial, called Dan from Canyon Marine to inquire about a rail kit. He was more than willing to help and got it done the next week. Here are some pics. Sorry in advance if they are kinda dark, took them in the garage.
First I had to dowel and glass the old holes through the stringers since they were reemed out. Keep in mind, this is just a temp fix to get me through the season, my stringers have some water in them and need to be replaced.

Dan used a spare block for mock up. The rod running through the crank journals is for proper pump shaft alignment.

Finally installed the Banderlog valve that has been sitting in the garage, it works great!!!!! Hoses, wires, cables everywhere. I think I need clean things up a bit.

And the boat is back on the water just in time for the 4th.

I want to say a HUGE thanks to Dan at Canyon Marine for all his help. He really went out of his way to help me out and make sure everything was just right.;)

I'm glad you went with the rail kit, it looks great. There were some interresting ideas tossed around about fixing those egg shaped holes in your stringers but a few of them sounded at the most like temporary fixes. Glad to see you went with the rails-Aluminum Squirt

I'm sure that it's a Canyon Marine kit. Dan does some top notch work.

Where is Canyon Marine?

It is a Canyon Marine Kit. Dan is located in Valencia. If anybody wants to contact him he is here on the boards "Lookin for Liquid" he does great work.
Alum Squirt, we went over a few options on how to fix it and considering the condition of my stringers, this was the best option overall. The dowels are still just a temp fix to get me trhough the summer as the stringers have some water in them from some holes that the previous owner never sealed up. I'll worry about that next winter.
Hustler, how ya been??? When is the next trip, did you ever get the problem with the boat figured out??? Say hi to the queen for us.

Working too much, are you home from already? wanna get some lunch? Give me a call 661-510-3185. My problem was Bad gas at Parker Oil. So far one head is cracked and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that there is not any more damage

Jim, I was having a hell of a time with my basset valve and was always having to adjust it. Mostly it wouldn't shut at idle and then if it did and I brought the RPM's up at all to get through a no wake zone I was getting water in the pipes and the motor would load up. The Banderlog works like a Champ. I'm sorry I didn't install it sooner. I bought mine from CPPerformance. Couldn't find a number on it.
