After getting the motor fired up we hooked the water to run it and set up the carbs and timing. When i shut it off i noticed that water was running out the weephole on #6 so,i checked the obvious off came the blower and the manifold no leak there so we pressured up the heads and there it was a hairline crack so now i am in a mad dash to get a set of heads gathered up before this weekend. So if anyone knows anyone with a set that is set up for 1.625 springs that they want to sell send them my way.

What heads do you need?I have a couple of good sets of the big oval port heads. They are alredy set up and ready to go.As long as you are running a mild hydrolic cam.

I forgot that these heads arent exactly stk heads, the intake runners are raised .100" above standard port location and the exaust is raised .750" to reduce turbulence in the runners. They are open chamber 115cc, they have bronze valve guides and are semi finished for 2.19" intake valves and 1.88" exaust. Also you need .400" longer intake valves or the spring seat can be machined .200". You would have to modify your intake to line up with the heads. If you want all the info on these heads go to www.gmgoodwrench.com and look under performance parts the part # is 12363425
