How busy is Lake Pleasant on weekends?

I'm coming down this weekend from Flagstaff and was wondering how busy Lake Pleasant has been. Is it worth bringing my boat down? I'd like to go out Saturday and Sunday but don't want to go out if it's a Zoo or they close down the entrance.

it will be crowded on saturday. they are having activities at the marina all day and fireworks at night. they dont ever close the entrances as far as i know because of crowding like saguaro, etc.
on normal weekends, it isnt so bad

Park at the 10 lane side ramp and be there before noon for decent parking. Sundays are typically busier than Saturday but probably not true this weekend. You'll find a good party in Humbug bay after about 2:00.

Thanks for the input. I'll probably go for it and bring the boat down. We were planning on heading out to the lake early anyway.
