It's not a true cat, it has a twin vee nose that ends up in a more conventional hull at the rear. Hard to explain, I crawled under one at the boat show earlier this year. It's also available with an Indmar 8.1L big block.
Lotta dough for a tow boat.

Its just a big V with a picklefork style bow seating. The X80 is a beastmaster and with twin motors its like 100k and +.
The rear of the boat has radical notches in the side to allow the boat to sit deeper in the pocket= bigger wake.
THe bow is just different looking and allows for way more bow seating.

I saw that boat. Nice boat, but you could spend the money in a better way and get more that just a tow boat.

I saw one down at the San Diego boat show, and the price tag on it was $110,000.00. For that price I wouldn't be buying a boat that wouldn't even do 50mph.
