I'm looking for either 049's or a set of 990's.

Too bad I'm not selling you my boat with the motor because I'm running 990's on it.... unless you want to offer me what I originally asked for... then the motor is yours with the boat!!!

The 049's are oval ports, 990's are rectangular!..
I have a set of 990's!..They are o-ringed and they have been drilled to add the two extra head bolts and the chambers have been polished. They are complete but I have no idea what kind of valves are in them!....$600 + the ship!..

Thanks for the offer Go fast but I found a set of 049's already for a $150 but I still need to do the head work to them.

Drilled for the 2 extra head bolts? is that so they will fit a newer gen block or does the 990's not utilize all of the head bolts on the block?

If you look at the deck, there are two cylinders that don't have head bolts all the way around, the heads are drilled for them, all you do is drill and tap the block and use flat head bolts and the top of the ports are plugged!..

I have a set of 990's fresh from the machine shop. The machinets I use is a reputable builder with 20+ years in the racing engine business (Max Long). they have been cleened, maged, 2-angle valve job, comp springs (120#) and new retainers and keepers. Came off of a GEN VI 502. has not been bolted or painted since rebuild. If you still need some, send me an offer. I'm in Dallas, TX.
Thanks,
randy
