Your trailer is sweet! I powdercoating more expensive than paint? I like the "floating fender" look, but don't you miss having the steps? I would have to use a step stool to get in and out of it.

I was able to get it powdercoated for less money than i was able to get i painted for. And ya your right the side steps are nice to have.

I just bought the boat and trailer. I am doing a from the ground
up resto. I got the trailer done and this winter i will do the boat.
The boat is in perfect condtion the white gelcoat is perfect and it is a light layup no extra holes in stringers and the floor is also in great shape. The boat has no stress cracks it was a race boat
right out of the mold.

Boatmike- Trailer looks good! I did that to mine about a year ago. Had trailer sandblasted, cut new light buckets for LED's, re-painted it white with DuPont Imron (just about as durable as powdercoat), had it pinstriped to match boat with old school patterns-Von Dutch style hot rod striping on tongue, added stainless fenders, Weld wheels and low profile Toyo rubber, fresh bunks. It looks great and makes the boat look so much better out of the water! By the way you boat looks great! Why in the world would you take it apart?
