Are there any Hawian owners on here, saw a 79 for sale yesterday that looks prety sick. Are they good hulls, looks prety lite.

I have a 79 Hawaiian Moonraker 21ft open bow. Never runs more than a few hours but thats my own fault :D

They are pretty light and not the strongest hulls out there. Ck the floor out good and look for stress cracks running length wise on the bottom just in front of the motor.

I've had my 76 Hawiian Day Cruiser since it left the mold. For 28 years, I have replaced the trasom and floor once. She still floats and goes fast.

Thanks for the reply people, Im looking at a 79 that looks super light compared to my 68 Wieman (Rodgers)
