Friday is the day paint is going on, primer looks great im just a little timid about shooting the paint(acrylic urathane)over and epoxy primer, whats the best tip you guys got for a frist time painter on a budget. Ive ben told to use a slowactivator(hardner) to give the paint time to lay out. IM shooting with a 1.7 mm HVLP at around 65-70 degrees.. Thanks in advance Ryan

Is it a solid color or a metallic?. Are you shooting the boat in a booth or your garage?. Do you plan on clear coating?. All of these come into play along with the temperture.

Get in there and try it yourself. This was painted in my garage. I used House of Kolor Urethane, HVLP gun, med reducer, temp was 65 to 70d and kind of overcast. The clearcoat was sanded to 2000 and buffed 24 hrs after being sprayed.
