Did your boat leave the factory without cav plates? or was the hardware just removed at the time of the pic?

77Eliminator,
Checked out the pics of your boat. It looks great. I've got the same boat but I still have the traditional daycruiser interior. I would like to change over to a full back seat but I'm not sure if I'll have enough leg room in the back seat. My engine is placed forward quite a bit. Can you post some better pics of your interior? Is your back seat smack up up against the back of your motor?
Thanks
Gary

Here a couple of pic of the motor, she's a 460 with modified C6 tranny set by Connelly way back in 1977. Never had cav plates and it been 27 years now but they are on the wish list for next year. I currently run a solid 60 MPH on the GPS with a bronson hill stainless prop. I'll take some closeup of the interior to show the leg room. As a reference my wife drives a mustang and the boat has more leg room than her back seat.

I am happy with my Cole....I used to have a Hallet Vector also..loved that one too...By the way..J540..it looks like your motor is set farther back than mine?? How does it handle with all that H.P. Just curious, I am trying to find a way to put a back seat in mine. I do miss the roominess of the Hallet Vector..

Iam sure it needs to be up 10+''. over 100 it walks sideways, cuz the prop, was 12-16 . but do to that rock in needles marina:D its a 11-16. she dont walk any more;) both of my props got junked up, kinda hard on equipment. now one is 11-16 an one 11-15. but it runs good, but as you can see just a little to ASS heavy:D A lot. Can you call me sometime, like to talk to you about yours.

My dad's 20 foot miller v-drive. The bottom design is like the 19 foot miller but a little more refined according to the designer Dave Miller. In unblown gas jet the 19' broke the world record by 17 miles an hour in 77'. In 1980 another one was built for competition jet. It took the comp. jet record to 114 miles an hour and kept the record to I think 1982. Some time in the 80's OMC used the 19 footer in there advertising. it was the most efficient design they had tested back then. They took it to 62 miles an hour with 230 horsepower small block chevrolet. Fuel efficiency was way up there. The design has been proven to work well with a jet, io, or v-drive. The 20 is my favorite all glass design.

Okay sorry guys it's not a v-drive. This was the last mini cruiser built by Dave Miller. If jet's weren't so popular back then I'm sure he would of made it a v-drive.
