guess i should have added more information theese engines are going in a brand new 30'plus boat most probably a new elimantor daytona 33 if it can be had with canopies this is for the owner i work for and he wants me to research the diff engines and give him my recomondations and why. i need something that can be worked on by relatively most decent marine mechanics. looking for something that still uses normall electronics and wont be a problem if a warranty issue arrises. he is not affraid to spend money and knows he is looking around 30,000 each at least right now some he is looking at are around 35,000 he would like to stick with a well known name

My suggestion:
If you want somebody more local to handle the rigging/dialing in of a Pfaff engine, call the guy at the bottom of my post. Paul Pfaff would recommend him, and so would I.
PM me for more information if you wish.

Take a look at RPM Engine Development in Tempe, they just done one for me and I am very happy with it, these guys even came out and tuned it after it was installed in the boat.

For what it is worth I have been having GT Performance, Gary Teague, build me motors for years. I cannot speak well enough of Gary. He is available and always has time to listen to you and problem solve. His rigging and installation is some of the best I have ever seen. Totally custom and clean.
Most recently Gary built the motors for my 33' Daytona below. 1050 HP, 572 CI Merlins with no problems. I never have problems with his motors. Now I break a lot of drives but that's another story....
Gary Teague, 909 982 8391.
Good Luck,
Don
