Any one using HTPs Snoot?

Does anyone have input on HTPs Snoot? If so, what boat length, motor, impellor, grate & shoe are you using? What improvements came from the straight Snoot? I have been thinking about replacing my Droop Snoot with the Straight Snoot from HTP. My 21' Howard with 468 BBC, 8-71, Ride plate/shoe A+ impellor & sport edition loader (2 angle pieces on grate) is only turning 5100 rpm & 61mph. I keep throwing more motor at the pump with no speed improvements. Anyone have any suggestions. Thx
