All i can say it is worth the 120.00.
This coming from a standard anchor and chain person who thought i would never need a box anchor.

I used mine for the first time over fourth of July weekend and I must say it's awesome. Sandy bottom at Shaver, set the very first time and held all five days through wind, wakes , and all the above. This while my buddy struggled daily with his mushroom anchors.

Dropped one at the sandbar on the heavy current side, and never moved an inch. Dropped it again at Mead and it held even once the wind came up.

I used mine in needles the bottom is gravel or rocky and it hooked very fast even with the current. So far i am happy with it so i am glad i bought it now.Now i might see if an antique shop wants to buy my old danforth anchor:D

We have ours and the thing works better then any other anchor out there. We use the Anchor buddy on the front and the slide spike on the beach, the boat will not move period. just my 2cents

Drop anchor about 45ft from shore, which keeps the boat off the shore when the wind and wakes arrive.;)

Of course with 10 to 1 windage, you will need 450 feet of line to do so ........... J/K what he said.

The Sand spike (slide spike) is great also.
