we were going to the Riverside casino because of the kids castle they have there and wanted to know if anyone has ever stayed at the Avi and if they have things for kids to do there.. ;)
they have a kids quest but do they watch the kids for a fee or do you have to stay with them?
kids castle at the riverside they watch them while we gamble.. any thoughts and answers would be greatly appriciated.. thanks.;)

The Avi will watch them for a fee but I they close fairly early from what I remember. You might want to give them call and see when they do close.

I don't know of any sort of Kids Castle type thing elsewhere in Laughlin.
Both the Avi and Riverside have a Kid's Castle (Same owner - in that Don Laughlin put up 6 million to build the Avi). I think the Kid's Castle at the Riverside is a little nicer, but we've never put the kids in the one at the Avi, probably will next week though.
Joe's right, check the hours!!! I think it works out to about $6/hour but I could be wrong, it's been a while since we've used it. ;)

we've dropped our child there at the Riverside. She seemed to have a great time while we gambled. I can say one thing for sure... I hate gambling at Avi. The staff there is so so unhappy to be there and treats you similarly. The craps crew at the Riverside is as friendly as it gets.

I went to the Avi last year to play golf across the street at the Mojave golf course. We went into the Avi, we we unimpressed with the hotel, kind of run down and shabby looking compaired to the hotels in Laughlin. Harrahs isn't what it used to be either, but they do have a family tower that has an arcade,McDonanlds and 31 flavors. We take our kids on the water with us so I'm unaware of daycare for the kiddies. By the time we get off the water and done with dinner we've had enough and it's bed time.

I believe that give you a pager at the Riverside too. It seems like it's run pretty tight too.

MFV,
Don't forget Loser's Lounge too. If you get their Thursday night, they have a Wet T-shirt contest. Sometimes it's good to see the action. Even for a laugh too. :D
