do you require your passengers and yourself to suit up with the proper speed gear like helmets and life jackets instead of just head sets??:D

Depends on the boat I think. Idle is where the life vests go on in the STV. Helmets only when running hard or in the cold.
The Scarab will only run 70, so not needed in that.

Then again, when you see that boat at speed, or even ride in it, you would too!!! Not much boat in the water and it gets to speed in a hurry. :)
