Neighbor girl is turning in her leased BMW 3.
After 3 years, barely 4.000 miles on it.
Garaged at work and at home, the car is immaculate.
Is their an advantage to low miles when turning in a lease?
We have almost 100K miles on our GMC truck.
Runs as strong as the day we bought it, uses no oil, looks new.
Is it worthless with that many miles?
What's a lot of miles these days?

.
It really all comes down to the eyes of the beholder. 100k to some people doesn't mean shit, to many others it means "that car" is probably near death.

She rides her bicycle everywhere.
Is there the opposite of charging for extra miles?
Still has that excellent Bavarian brewery smell.

to me it is what kind of car/truck.... I had a Acura with 240k on it and it had very few probs and I trusted driving it far..... I also had an Oldsmobile.... when I hit 104k I did not trust it and it was a pile of crap.... didn't go but another 4k before its repairs exceeded it's value.... as for value.... mile to bring it down.... just because you are closer to the thing wearing out in the engine..... think of it as a woman..... she sleeps with 4 people... still pretty new, then the girl that has slepted with 300 people.... she may have some secret moves and some great stories.... but she is pretty much worn out....

Depends on the vehicle, like a Toyota or a Honda, it would not mean much, but a Malibu or Taurus, I would think it is near it's death.

There is no opposite to charging for miles over the agreement. If you're not going to drive, don't lease. It's a waste

We have just over 300,000mi on two 2000 chevys with the 6.0. They pull trailers everyday sense they were new. I can still light up the tires from a standstill. Gotta love that.
