There's actually 2 shoe trees on that stretch. From Amboy east, the first one is 1 1/2 miles out (it's the wannabe shoe tree), and the original route 66 shoe tree at the 6 mile mark. We have probably close to 10 pairs in the original tree.
If you loo next time, there's a BRA tree 1 mile east of Amboy on the north side of the road, too!
